This training group is designed to introduce and advance swimmers, 12 &under, in year-round swimming attending 4 out of the 6 practices offered per week. Correct stroke mechanics are emphasized at all times in this group, and as stroke skills improve swimmers are challenged with more difficult training sets. Swimmers are encouraged to enjoy their swimming and to begin to focus more on the competitive aspect of the sport. Swimmers in this group should compete in “BB” level swim meets
This is a group that will meet the needs of all competitive swimmers ages 12 & older who have a desire to reach the top level of the sport. Swimmers in this group are skilled and experienced athletes who still need to improve their overall level of swimming and should be focused on preparing for the demands of the top teaching group. Swimmers need to be swimming at the BB level for their age group to qualify for this group. Swimmers are encouraged to attend 4-5 of the 6 weekly practices to get the best out of this group.
This group is designed to meet the needs of a wide range of those 12 – 14 year old swimmer’s. Whether you are just getting started in competitive swimming, or if you are a competitive swimmer who is also participating in other sports, the CAC Junior Silver Conditioning group is for you. The focus of this practice group is to improve the swimmer’s stroke skills and develop their enthusiasm for swimming. Swimmers are given a challenging practice designed to teach them how to be more efficient in the water. Swimmers must be able to swim 50 yards of 3 strokes without assistance to start in this group. Meet participation is optional, but encouraged. Swimmers are encouraged to attend 3 of the 5 weekly practices to get the most out of this group.
